Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

EEI’s Compliance Specialists develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to achieve improved environmental performance, compliance and pollution prevention through source reduction and continual improvement in accordance with ISO 14001 principles. 

We provide EMS implementation support to many military installations incorporating the three ongoing loops - planning, corrective action, and continuous improvement. The principles embodied in existing models, such as EPA’s Code of Environmental Management Principles (CEMP), and ISO Standard 14001, are the basis for the framework used by EEI for EMS implementation at the DoD installations.

• EMS implementation and support for the 90^th RRC and the 96^th RRC
