Company History

Engineering & Environment, Inc. (EEI) began in 1988 as a two-person firm in Virginia Beach, VA. Our president, with over 30 years of experience, was newly retired from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division. EEI was incorporated in the State of Virginia in 1991. In 1996, EEI applied for and received 8(a) status from the Small Business Administration as a Small and Disadvantaged Business, and graduated from that program in October 2005.

Since our inception, EEI has been awarded contracts from various local, state and federal government agencies. We have expanded our areas of expertise to include: Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) and Sustainable Range Program (SRP), sustainability, event planning, conference and meeting support, regulatory compliance, natural resources, cultural resources, range training land assessments, pollution prevention, environmental training, document and data management, program management, site restoration, and operation and maintenance.
