Energy Management
Specialist
Engineering & Environment, Inc. is seeking an Energy
Resource Manager at Fort Campbell, KY.
Candidates must possess a minimum of three
(3) years experience working with an Energy Management System (EMS). Responsibilities include, but not limited to collecting data from EMS and computer systems; interpret and analyze data regarding the interrelationship between EMS, energy consumption and equipment usage. Analyze the system operation and identifying component failures and provides advice on course of action. Submits statistical data for reports to Directorate of Public works energy manager. Cross-trains other assigned personnel in the operation of the Energy Management System.
Desirable candidates should be knowledgeable of the functions, purpose and operation of equipment used in electrical distribution systems, boiler plants, steam systems, air conditioning, heating and electrical systems, to monitor and/or remotely operate systems from a central location. Troubleshooting expertise required for, but not limited to EMS maintenance and repair. The Energy Resource Manager is responsible for reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics of utility systems and operating manuals of Energy Management Systems. Researching, developing, initializing and/or updating application programming of centralized computers. Use test equipment such as multi-meter and other essential tools. Provide general verbal and written instructions concerning objective and mission requirements.
Successful candidates will assist the EMS administrator (senior EMS mechanic) and the Director of Public Works with execution of the security requirements of the “System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA)”. All contractor personnel on site may be required to pass a trustworthy National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation, prior to being allowed to work under this PWS. Proficient and technically competent in Lon Maker and Workplace Pro Software is desired.
