Environmental Compliance Area Manager

Environmental firm seeking candidate to fill Environmental Compliance Area Manager position in Phoenix AZ.  Candidate responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and inspecting facilities and units throughout region to ensure all applicable environmental regulations and/or policies are being met or exceeded.  Assist in the development of scopes of work, obtain cost/price estimates, and manage projects to achieve compliance.  Conduct environmental assessments and environmental impact statements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).  Support of regional pollution prevention, Hazardous Waste, Air, Water and AST programs; coordination of the Environmental Performance Assessment System (EPAS) program; participate at meetings, conferences, and provide other technical assistance and consultation as needed.  Develop, prepare, and provide environmental training as required.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.  Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental compliance regulations required.  Project management and hazardous materials experience necessary.  Hazardous Waste Manifest Certification and experience with military reserves is a plus.  BS in Environmental Science or related field is preferred.  Must be able to pass a background check and hold a valid drivers license.  Please include salary history with resume.  We are an EOE.
